Don limone cheesecake and grill

My friend wanted to try this cheesecake place and since we were on a weekend with no plan, we decided to try it out.

Restaurant details:

4870 Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Mendez Crossing East, Tagaytay, Cavite

Store hours:

11am – 9pm weekdays

11am- 11pm weekends

First of all, it should be noted that this is a hole in a wall kind of thing. It was difficult to find and it’s inside what looks like a residential area. It’s probably a 2-3 minute drive from the “gate” and the sign for the restaurant blends with the garden but there was enough parking for restaurant goers.

The place looked like those old houses in the late hispanic era which was remodelled to be a restaurant.

The details of the interiors were very much hispanic and was very classic.

The tables were what looks like a classic filipino dining area with wooden chairs and wooden table. It felt very homey and it wasn’t hot despite being an enclosed area.

I found the restrooms really interesting. It had a resting area and the powder room area was very relaxed and felt really appropriate for washing up and freshening up.

The second floor going to the powder room was also spacious. It was a good spot for OOTDs.

When we went there we were literally the only people in the restaurant.

Here’s a sample OOTD shot 😜

We only tried their cheescakes. We each took a different flavor and it comes with an unlimited serving of coffee.

We tried blueberry white chocolate, strawberry cheesecake and bailey’s white chocolate.

They were really good. The flavors were very distinct for the strawberry and blue berry white chocolate.

The bailey’s white was different and very interesting. It tasted like the bailey’s and the cream cheese blended so well that they became one. It was good, I just can’t find words to describe it.

Another thing: the decorative flowers were also edible! The fruits were a bonus. πŸ‘πŸ»

The coffee also tasted good.

It was a bit pricey. 400 pesos per person which is inclusive of one slice of cheesecake and unlimited serving of coffee.

The staff was very attentive and was very accomodating. 2 thumbs up for the service.

Overall, the only downside I can say is the price. The location could also be a con but it was worth the drive. The cheesecake was superb! The coffee was also good. I would go back and would highly recommend going here.
